The Hiree – All goods supplied under hire are on a hire basis only and title remains with Bedecked Wedding and Event Hire – Hereafter known as the hiree

The Hirer – The Hirer is the person named on the invoice.  The Hirer takes responsibility for the goods under these terms and conditions

Responsibility – The Hirer shall be solely responsible for the Hired Goods, not the venue/hotel/florist, or any other third party to whom shall take possession of the Hire Goods.  The Hirer shall be alone responsible for any incidents/resulting damage caused by hired goods once in their possession.   The Hirer shall be responsible for insuring the Hired Goods are kept in good order from the time of receipt of delivery unitl back into the possession of the Hiree.  Therefore agreement of a good provision of storage must be made and organised directly with any third party involved for ny hired goods if you are leaving the venue prior to our collection or your own return delivery on the agreed date.  All goods must be repackaged in the boxes provided ready for collection/return.

Hire Period – The general  hire period is 48 hours before and 48 hours after the event.  This can be extended at the Hirees discretion for which a charge may be levied

Condition of Goods – Hire goods are despatched clean, undamaged and in good hire condition.  All shortages and breakages will be charged at the replacement costs shown in the item description on the website.  Customers goods cannot be accepted as replacements.

Deposit – A 25% non-refundable deposit (minimum £20) will be required to secure a booking.  Until the deposit is received by the Hiree then no booking will be deemed to have been made.  This deposit will be repaid in full upon the return of all hired goods in an undamaged condition.

Payment – The balace is payable in full 1 calender month before the event date.  If a booking is cancelled more than 1 month in advance then mo more is payable, if a booking is cancelled within 1 month then the full remaining balance is payable.  These monies can be used against a future booking within 12 months if the event is postponed.  Bookings within 1 month must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Packaging – All goods must be returned in the same packaging they were delivered in.  Any lost or damaged containers will be charged accordingly and any hire goods damaged due to poor packaing will be charged for at the replacement value on the website.

Wrong Goods – Any good returned, other than those supplied, will be held for the clients collection for one month and then disposed of.

Discrepancies – Any discrepancies must be notified within 12 hours of delivery/collection.  Queries on goods received must be notified within 12 hours of delivery as replacement items cannot be guaranteed on the day.

Collection – Drivers collecting goods are not authorised to return deposits or pack up/check goods.

Insurance – if you wish to insure the goods whilst in your possession you are advised to cover the full replacement value which can be found on the website.

Injury or Damage – The Hireee shall not be responsible for injury or damae to persons or property howsoever sustained arising from any Hired goods from Bedecked Wedding and Event Hire.

Table Linen – Table linen must not be returned or stored damp or wet.  Damage resulting from mildew or other stains and burn marks that will not respond to laundering will be charged at full replacement cost.

Indoor Use only – The hired equipment is solely intended for use and storage indoors unless specifically designed and manufactured for use outdoors.  If equipment is used or stored outdoors the hirer is fully responsible for damage caused by the weather or any other associated hazard.

Cutlery – Cutlery must be rinsed after use.  Under no circumstances should scourers or abrasives be used on any hired equipment.

Chair Covers – Chair Covers hired on a DIY basis are supplied washed and folded into shipping crates which must be retained for return transit.  If Bedecked and its associated companies are delivering and collecting DIY chair covers, no fitting will be carried out by the Company.  Chair covers/sashes are to be taken off the chairs at the end of the event evening and put back into crates provided ready for collection.  Should Bedecked and its associated companies arrive on site for a collection and covers have not been taken off by hirer, the hirer will be charged a labour fee of 50p per cover for removal by the Company.  No refunds will be given for quantities pre-ordered and not required on the day of the event.  Chair covers damaged beyond laundry, ripped, torn or burned will be charged at the full replacement cost on the website.

Candles – Non drip candles just be kept away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents.  This will help prevent rapid, uneven burning and avoid flame flareups and dripping.  Drafts can also blow nearby lightweight items into the flame where they could catch fire.

Delivery/Collection – Items will be delivered and collected by courier.  Failed delivery or collection will incur a £20 fee which will be deducted from the Hirers deposit.
